"Glorify the Lord with me; let us exalt His name together" (Ps 34:3 NIV). Prayer in the Park is an opportunity for all Christians in Waterloo Region to connect in one place and seek the Lord together. For in Christ, we form one body (Rom 12:5). Come and seek the Lord for renewal in the church and the inhabitation of God's Spirit in our Region. Please join us at Prayer in the Park and together we will "Ascribe to the Lord the glory due his name" (Ps 29:2 NIV) and "Look to the Lord and His strength" (1 Chr 16:11 NIV).
God is at work in Waterloo Region. Please pray continually for His will to do be done here, as we let Him speak to our hearts to lead us and renew us. Pray that God will equip us for works of service until we reach unity in the faith, and in the knowledge of the Son of God, and become mature, attaining to the whole measure of the fullness of Christ (see Ephesians 4:11-16).

God's call to draw His people together is clear throughout Scripture. We see it through the feasts, sacred assemblies, and times of renewal, even in the early church. Connecting in one place refreshes us and renews and reminds us we are part of the one body of Christ and God is with us. Connecting in one place is not unity, rather it is an encouragement that we already have unity. We must continually make every effort to keep the unity of the Spirit, so that we can become the mature body of Christ. We are meant to be connected. We are the supporting ligaments joining the body of Christ and holding it together, as we grow and are built up in love, and each part does its work.
There are many ways you can help. Most important continually pray, seek God, and listen to His leading. Please talk to everyone you know about coming together at Prayer in the Park. Talk to people personally, on social media, and in Church announcements. You can also prayerfully consider volunteering at the event. We're also looking for businesses interested in sponsoring Prayer in the Park.
God is doing many great things here in Waterloo Region. Praise the Lord! We believe He has even more in store for us. Recently, I have been challenged and encouraged to pray not just for a visitation, but a Habitation from God. We do not want simply a season of change, but a lasting renewal.
